-Studied French in high school or college but it’s been ten years since you have spoken? Or you have been learning recently and are ready for the next level? This is the class for you. Come and join a small group of ladies (gentleman are welcome too!) in a café setting for a full immersion experience of French reviewing all the basic and more complicated aspects of grammar, spontaneous dialogue as we share about our feelings and activities from last week, enjoy role-playing as we read short sketches, learn about current French culture and thought as we dissect and read a French magazine written especially for learners of French! Lots of laughs, lots of learning in this relaxed ambiance.

Class Descriptions:
ROSE I - Our one-year program especially for Mothers (or Fathers!) that are either brand-new beginners or people who desire to recapture the French they learned in High School. In this class we meet for a French coffee and pain au chocolat at a French Café and get to know each other through simple French conversation and elementary basics of grammar.
ROSE II - Our offering for Mothers (or Fathers!) at a more advanced beginner/intermediate level who desire to brush up on their French in a social, conversational setting. This class meets in a French Café over a coffee and pain au chocolat as we focus on conversation through reading aloud and discussing the text, talking about our week and our families, working through a grammar book and having a lot of laughs.
ROSE III - Advanced Conversation and book discussion. Our most challenging class for ladies that already speak French fairly fluently but want to keep it strong, brush up on advanced grammar and nuances and continue to stay on their toes!
MOM'S GETAWAY - Mothers enrolled in Franc-O-Femmes French classes OR mothers that have an advanded beginner or better French-speaking base are invited to join us for two nights at a New England bed & breakfast for a mini-French immersion experience. Weekend includes three French lessons, breakfast and dinner, hiking or shopping, visit to a chocolaterie, fun French games. Massage, wine-tasting, afternoon tea additional cost. Reserve yours.

French Cooking for adults
In 2009 Franc-O-Fun introduced a new way to enjoy a Friday evening: cooking à la française with other ladies, a few husbands and a French Chef. We gathered in the charming kitchens of our hostesses for an extravaganza of chopping, sautéing, kneading, etc.. while learning and conversing in French. After having worked hard at learning new cooking techniques, methods and vocabulary for 2 hours, our gourmet three-course dinners never looked better as they were beautifully presented and thoroughly enjoyed with a variety of choice wines.
